NBA Tampering Investigation has begun regarding free agency contracts involving the Chicago Bull and Miami Heat.
It’s alleged both Lowry and Ball were contacted by the clubs prior to the free agent restrictions being lifted. Penalties may include a fine, loss of a draft pick and even voiding deals – the maximum monetary penalty being $10milliion.

A year ago Milwaukee lost their second-round pick because of a similar incident and the player, Bogdan Bodanovic ended up joining the Atlanta Hawks. This was due to earlier talks with Milwaukee being deemed detrimental to the game.
Kyle Lowry and Ball will be substantial losses to their roster should the NBA find them guilty.
