If Floyd Mayweather Jr, widely known as “Money”, is not bragging about his rightfully acquired wealth, he will make buzz by taunting other boxers. The fight was a special moment to many boxing fans as they didn’t expect the YouTuber to go a full-eight round distance. Many in the boxing community expected Mayweather to knock out his opponent with much ease. The fight is said to have sold more than one million pay-per-view tickets.

3. KOBE BRYANT DIES IN A HORRIFYING HELICOPTER CRASH

The untimely and shocking death of NBA legend and one of the greats, Kobe Bryant, send shockwaves globally. On January 26, 2020, Kobe died along with his daughter Gianna and seven other occupants. The NBA fraternity was left devastated by his sudden death, and messages of condolences and tributes were sent from all walks of life. Kobe Bryant and his family friends were attending his daughter’s basketball match.

4. TIGER WOODS SURPRISING MASTERS TRIUMPH

Tiger Woods has had a stellar career as a golfer, winning memorable tournaments. But after an eleven years hiatus surrounded by a lot of controversies, on April 14, 2019, he clinched his 15th major trophy overall. Tiger beat Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Xander Schauffele by one stroke. He went on to become the 2nd oldest golfer after Jack Nicklaus to ever clinch the Masters.

5. ALEX OVECHKIN WINS THE STANLEY CUP

After the long wait, Alex Ovechkin finally won the Stanley Cup on June 7, 2018, with the Washington Capitals of the NHL. After an outstanding career in ice hockey and dominating scoreboards and MVP seasons, his dreams come true, and he brought the much-coveted title to DC.

Liverpool FC is a fantastic club with a huge following. But its champion’s league comebacks have cemented the clubs status among the best. They had lost the first leg to Barcelona 3-0, but on March 7, 2019, they needed a 4-0 victory to become a finalist. The second leg left many in amusement as they defeated their opponents with a 4-0 margin and a 4-3 aggregate. They went on to win the champions league after defeating Tottenham.
