17 years old and 6’9″ tall Emoni Bates is arguably the best prospect the NBA has ever seen. Ineligible for the 2022 NBA draft because of his age, it is almost guaranteed that he will be the number one pick the following year with Colleges Memphis, Michigan State, Oregan, G League and even the Spartans being options for next season.
His coach and team-mates say Emoni has a star quality about him and a killer instinct when on the Court. For the 2020 season he averaged 33.1 points per game with over 9 rebound. It is rumored that he is currently on $800,000 a year but with more than 330,000 Twitter followers it is believed he will drag in a similar amount just from his sponsored social media posts.
