High School Star Quinn Ewers is skipping his senior year at Southlake Carroll in order to chase the money playing college football at Ohio State. Although nothing illegal in the move, you have to question why this is allowed. The money, endorsements and other bells and whistles will still be there if he stayed for his final year.
By all accounts Quinn’s practice and play etiquette is that of a professional athlete and it is more than likely he will succeed. But should he be giving up his youth and development years to play for pro money. College football is going nowhere and nor is the money that can be earned.
