Nico Ali Walsh is set to make his boxing debut 5 years after his legendary grandfather died. The welterweight who is just 21 years of age will make his professional debut as part of the main card this Saturday in an ESPN covered fight in Tulsa. Born in Chicago but spending most of his life in Vegas he is the first to say that he has some nervous jitters prior to stepping into the ring.
Boxing as an amateur since the age of 10 and sometimes being privately coached by the master he has plenty of Ali’s tricks up his sleeve. The fight is to be a four rounder against Jordan weeks and will hopefully see rise to the ascension of another great fighter.
